The man gained entry through a rear garage door at the victim's Peninsula home and threatened her when she confronted him, police say.

DALY CITY, CA — A 38-year-old Daly City man was arrested on suspicion of robbery, burglary, credit card fraud and identity theft, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department reported.
The authorities indicated that last Tuesday at 9:48 a.m. deputies responded a residential burglary on the 1000 block of McCue Avenue in San Carlos that had occurred within the last hour.
The suspect, later identified as Mark Puzon, forced entry into the victim's residence through a rear garage door, according to the sheriff's office.
"Once inside, the suspect stole various personal items from the victim," the sheriff's office said in a news release.

According to the sheriff's report, the victim's stolen credit cards were then used just an hour later at multiple businesses in San Bruno.
"Surveillance video was obtained from these businesses and showed the suspect, 38-year-old Mark Puzon, using the victim’s stolen credit cards," the sheriff's office said. "Puzon was identified by a former acquaintance who saw him in the area."
Puzon was ultimately arrested with the help of Daly City police. He's accused of multiple charges that include identity theft, fraudulent use of an access card and commercial burglary.
Puzon's alleged involvement in the residential burglary and robbery is still under investigation. He was booked into the San Mateo County Maguire Correctional Facility.
