Suspected Peninsula Prowler Arrested

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A suspected Peninsula prowler was arrested Tuesday night, South San Francisco police suspect.

The suspect, a 63-year-old Oakland man, was booked at San Mateo County Jail police said.

Officers responded Tuesday night to the 10 block of Capay Circle after a resident reported a stranger was in the side yard of their home attempting to enter their backyard, police said.

The residents followed the suspect in their vehicle until officers arriving on the scene arrested him, police said.
