Volunteers Needed For San Mateo Co. 2022 Homeless Count
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, attend a virtual training, pass a COVID-19 symptom screening and have a smart phone and a car.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County is seeking volunteers for its 2022 One Day Homeless Count on Jan. 27.
The deadline to sign up is Jan. 11. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, attend a virtual training, pass a COVID-19 symptom screening and have a smart phone and a car.
The one day tally determines the number of people experiencing homelessness in San Mateo County. Volunteers will only be assisting with the observation count, according to the sign-up form.

The count will take place from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Jan. 27 at various locations throughout the county. Volunteers will be divided into teams and will drive and walk around their designated areas to observe and count.
