Baseball Bat Attack Leaves Marin Man Dead: Cops
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as Adolfo Martinez Pena, 23, of Novato.
PETALUMA, CA — A Marin man was killed early Sunday morning after being assaulted with a baseball bat, Petaluma police said.

At 1:49 a.m., officers responded to reports of a man being assaulted with a baseball bat in the 100 block of Keller Street, police said.

Paramedics attempted life-saving medical assistance, though the man was later pronounced dead.
The cause of death is still under investigation, police said.
