'Clean Slate' Pop-Up Planned This Month In Marin
Residents will be able to get direct assistance with accessing public benefits, getting job training and clearing criminal records.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Marin County's Clean Slate program will bring an array of community services directly to residents later this month in Marin City.
The county has hosted previous walk-up events over the last two years to bring assistance directly to residents in need, including help accessing benefits, finding employment and clearing up legal issues.
Representatives from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Public Defender's office, the District Attorney's office, the Probation Department and Child Support Services will be on hand for this month's event, the county announced Tuesday.

Residents will be able to get hands-on help with an array of issues, including utilizing Medi-Cal and CalFresh assistance, finding employment training, clearing criminal records, terminating probation and dismissing previous convictions. Officials ask attendees seeking legal help to bring along all relevant documents, including records and prior correspondence.
