Fairfax Honors Two Families

The Town Council at its Feb. 2 meeting issued proclamations honoring two Fairfax families.

FAIRFAX, CA —The town of Fairfax in separate proclamations honored two families at its Feb. 2 council meeting, officials said.

The Town Council at its Feb. 2 meeting issued a proclamation in memory of Frank Fradelizio, who died last month at the age of 91.

Fradelizo, the father of six and the owner of Fradelizio Ristorante) also owned and operated the Fairfax Bakery for many years.

The council proclaimed February 2, 2022 Frank Fradelizio Day.

The council also issued a proclamation celebrating the 100th anniversary of Deer Park Villa. The Fairfax institution has been run by the Ghiringhelli family since 1937, when it was purchased by Joe and Antoinette Ghiringhelli.

Their son Harry celebrated his 88 birthday this month, in honor of which the council proclaimed February 10, 2022 Harry Ghiringhelli Day.
