Firefighters Battle 2-Acre Marin Blaze (Updated)
The blaze does not threaten any populated areas, the Sheriff's Office said.
Update: Firefighters have stopped forward progress of the Audubon Canyon blaze, the Marin County Sheriff's Office tweeted at around 12:3o p.m.
MARIN COUNTY, CA – Firefighters in southern Marin are battling a 2-acre blaze that ignited Wednesday morning north of Stinson Beach, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said.
The blaze does not threaten any populated areas, the Sheriff’s Office said, noting that additional resources have been requested.

The Audubon Canyon blaze off Shoreline Highway is in a hard-to-reach area with heavy timber, the Sheriff’s Office said.
“Fire resources are on scene and access is difficult,” the Sheriff’s Office tweeted.
