Klay Thompson Celebrates Game 4 Finals Win In Marin Waters

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Klay Thompson celebrated the Golden State Warriors Game 4 Finals win by taking a plunge in the frigid San Francisco Bay waters of Marin.

A photo of the Warriors shooting guard swimming in the bay with the with the Golden Gate Bridge and Sutro Tower in the background that he posted on social media has gone viral.

Thompson is shown lifting his arm and tilting his head back as he looks up at bright blue skies over the bay.

“The ocean heals the mind, body & soul,” the photo is captioned.

Thompson has been commuting to Chase Center across the Bay by boat for practices and some games and credits the experience with helping him recover from career-threatening Achilles and knee injuries.

"I can't believe I'm here especially considering where I was at this time last year," Thompson told reporters after Friday’s Game 4 win against the Celtics in Boston.

"I wasn't even jogging yet, and now I'm out here just battling in the Finals. This is great, I'm gonna enjoy the heck out of these next couple games, or three games, whatever it's gonna be."
