A vehicle stop for a suspected code violation led to the arrest.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Southern Marin traffic stop last week led the arrest of a suspect after drugs and weapons were found in their vehicle, authorities said.
At around 9:45 p.m. Thursday a deputy stopped a vehicle for a suspected code violation, and the deputy developed a reason to search the vehicle after speaking with the driver, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said.
Several weapons including machetes and a collapsible baton along with suspected cocaine and “items indicative of cocaine sales” were seized during the arrest, the Sheriff’s Office said.
