Marin County Property Taxes Due Next Week
The second installment of 2022-23 property tax bills is due next Monday. Here's what to know this year.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The second half of property taxes is due April 10 in Marin County, and officials encourage taxpayers to settle their bills as soon as possible to avoid potential penalties. The first round of bills went out to nearly 92,000 property owners at the end of September, and payments were due in early November.
The county said the total tax roll for 2022-23 was more than $1.3 billion, up nearly 5.5 percent from the year before. Residents had the option to pay the full bill or split the total into two payments, with the second now coming due.
Second payments must be postmarked on or before April 10, or payments can be sent online or by phone at 1-800-985-7277. For in-person service, residents can find an express tax payment drop box under the southern archway of the Marin County Civic Center on April 7 and April 10.
