MARIN COUNTY, CA — A crash near San Quentin State Prison late Thursday afternoon has triggered a traffic advisory, the Central Marin Police Authority said.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area of East Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

“There are lane closures and heavy traffic congestion due to a traffic collision,” police said in an alert at 5:08 p.m.
