Marin Man Faces Child Molestation Charges: Report
The case involves a 14-year-old victim, according to the report.
NOVATO, CA — A Marin man is facing child molestation charges in connection with a case involving a 14-year-old victim, The Marin Independent Journal reports.
Brett Emmanuel Ortiz, 58 of Novato, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of multiple sex crimes and making threats, according to the report.
The crimes occurred over a four-month period in 2018 between July 1 to Nov. 1, the report said.

Ortiz has prior convictions for committing lewd acts on a child in Kern County in 1989 and for indecent exposure in Marin County in 1999, prosecutors said, according to the report.
