Marin Nonprofit Holds ‘Back To The Future’-Themed Fundraiser

The online event benefiting mental health services will include an auction with a Hawaiian vacation among the items up for bid.

NOVATO, CA — A Novato-based nonprofit is holding a “Back to the Future”-themed event to raise money for mental health services.

The North Marin Community Services event will feature an appearance from state Senator Mike McGuire (CA SD-02), who will host a live online auction with a Hawaiian vacation among the items up for bid.

“Our fun, inspiring event will showcase the impact of our work in the community and enable participants to make a meaningful difference locally,” NMCS Director of Development Stephanie Williams said in a statement.

The free event will be held Thursday (Oct. 21) from 6 to 7 p.m.

“Access to mental health, particularly for teens, is needed now more than ever,” NMCS CEO, Cheryl Paddack said in a statement noting that her group has served more people in their last fiscal year than any other in its 50-year history.

The first 100 people to register for this event will be entered into a raffle to win a new Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop computer.
