Marin Towns Tap Sean Youra For Key Role On Climate

FAIRFAX, CA — The town of Fairfax announced the hiring the hiring of a new climate action coordinator.

Sean Youra will serve the towns of San Anselmo and Fairfax in the new role under a shared agreement between the Ross Valley towns.

Youra is a former engineer now focused on addressing the climate crisis, according to his Medium bio. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Climate Conscious, an online publication.

Youra received his Master of Science Degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
