SAN RAFAEL, CA — Sophomore standout Kelsey McNair homered and drove in five runs as No. 3 seeded San Rafael beat No. 11 Campolindo 16-1 Wednesday in a North Coast Section Division 3 playoff game that was mercy-ruled after five innings.
Emma Maloney had three hits and four RBI and Riley Cottrell had two hits and drove in one.
Freshman Thomara Drummer had two hits including a double and two RBI.

McNair, Drummer and Megan Murphy combined on a two-hitter in which they struck out seven and walked none.

No. 3 seeded San Rafael advances to the North Coast Section Division 3 softball playoff quarterfinals. The Bulldogs are scheduled to play host to No. 11 Archie Williams at 5 p.m. Friday.
