Novato High Baseball Tops Branson For Fourth Straight Win

NOVATO, CA – Jacob Rabb and sophomore Dari Liuzzi combined on a three-hitter and Novato High extended its winning streak to four games with a 4-1 Marin County Athletic League victory over Branson.

Evan Black had two hits and two RBI and Will Carlson had two hits and two runs scored to lead the Hornets (5-1, 2-0 MCAL) offensively.

Freshman Nataan Hong, Derek Bartram and Andy Gates also had two hits for Novato.

Rabb, who started and was credited with the win, gave up one run on three hits and a walk in five innings.

Liuzzi struck out one and walked none in two shutout innings of no-hit ball.
