Ulanday replaces Stephen Leonetti, who will manage the Kokomo Jackrabbits, an Indiana-based college summer league team.

“Kyle will be great,” Leonetti told Patch, noting that he views his successor as someone “invested in the community I see being there long-term.”

“He was a really big part of why we were successful both on and off the field,” Leonetti said.

Ulanday last season helped recruit players to San Rafael and assisted with field maintenance, Leonetti said.

“Reliable and versatile, a true utility player,” Leonetti said.
