Snowy Egret Wades Along The Shoreline: Photo Of The Day

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Jeanne Johnson took this photo of a beautiful Snowy Ergret walking in the shallows of a pond at the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitation District in San Rafael. Jeanne participated in an Audubon Marin bird walk on March 7. "The walk was very informative and a lot of fun" Jeanne told Patch in an email. "The sun was out with a gentle breeze. About 20 people attended, from beginning birders to advanced experts."
