Bah Humbug! Race Scheduled In San Ramon

SAN RAMON, CA — Registration is now open for the 2022 Bah! Humbug 5K run or walk that begins and ends at the San Ramon Community Center.

The annual tradition, presented by the City of San Ramon and Chevron, begins at 9 a.m. on Dec. 3, the morning of the city’s Community Tree Lighting and holiday celebration. Participants will receive a holiday long-sleeve shirt and a Bah Hamburg! Ornament.

Kids 4-9 years old will also be able to participate in a non-timed 1K Kids Dash event starting at 8 a.m. that also begins and ends on Alcosta Boulevard in front of the San Ramon Community Center.

The event will also consist of a costume contest that will award the “Most Grinch-Like”, “Best Holiday Spirit” and “Best Group Theme” costumes.

Registration can be completed here. The following form can also be mailed to P.O. Box 1199, Arnold, CA 95223. The form must be postmarked by Nov. 25.

Registration fees are as follows:

5k Adult (ages 19 & over)
$40 though November 25
$50 November 26 - December 2 $55 on Race Day

5K Youth (ages 18 & under)
$30 though November 25
$40 November 26 - December 2 $45 on Race Day

Kids Dash (ages 4-9)
$25 though December 2
$30 on Race Day

Kids Dash + 5K Youth (ages 4-9)
$35 though November 25
$45 November 26 - December 2 $50 on Race Day
