Man Identified in Fatal San Ramon Solo Crash Saturday

A 32-year-old Redwood City man died on Bollinger Canyon Road during the storm Saturday.

SAN RAMON, CA- A man who died when his vehicle went off the road and struck several trees in San Ramon on Saturday afternoon has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 32-year-old Redwood City resident Eissa Kishek.

Police officers responded shortly after noon Saturday to a report of a solo vehicle crash on Bollinger Canyon Road near Harcourt Way.

A witness reported seeing a vehicle speeding on Bollinger Canyon Road before going off the roadway and striking several trees. The driver, later identified as Kishek, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

No one else was in the vehicle. Police believe excessive speed and a wet roadway may have been factors in the crash.
