Police Chase Ends In Arrest Of Man Suspected Of San Ramon Robbery

Officers arrested him after a chase through Macy's in Stoneridge Shopping Center.

PLEASANTON, CA — A person suspected of robberies in San Ramon and San Leandro was arrested Thursday after a police chase in Pleasanton's Stoneridge Shopping Center, the sheriff's office said.

A name of the person arrested was not immediately provided by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported.

The person was chased in Macy's and detained by authorities. Prior to the chase, he was spotted by sheriff's and Dublin Police Services officials in a car.

The county notified residents around noon that they should expect a significant police presence in the area.

San Ramon police did not immediately respond a request for more details about the case.
