San Ramon Bah Humbug! Run 2021: How To Sign Up; Road Closures

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon's annual Bah Humbug! run is just a few weeks away.

The 5K run and walk and kid's dash will be held Dec. 4 at San Ramon Central Park Community Center (12501 Alcosta Blvd.). The 1K kid's dash begins at 8:20 a.m. and volunteers will assist children in staying on course. The 5K chip-timed race will begin at 9 a.m.

Don't forget the costume contest! Awards will be given for the most Grinch-like costume, best holiday spirit and best group theme.

Participants will get a long-sleeved T-shirt and Bah Humbug! ornament, according to the city.

Early registration discounts are in effect through Tuesday. Prices are currently as follows.

• Ages 19 and older: $40
• Ages 18 and younger: $30
• Ages 4 to 9: $15

The following road closures will be in effect on the day of the race.

• Southbound Alcosta Boulevard from Norris Canyon Road to Bollinger Canyon Road: 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Eastbound Norris Canyon Road from Alcosta to Bishop Drive: 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Northbound Bishop from Norris Canyon to Executive Parkway: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Executive from Bishop Drive to Alcosta Blvd (Using BR15 parking lot): 7:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.
