San Ramon Restaurants Will Soon Have to Display Health Code Violation Cards
Contra Costa County food services will soon have to post color-coded signs of any health code violations found in their health inspections.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA- Curious about your favorite restaurants’ health inspection history? Next month you won’t have to wonder anymore.
Beginning April 15, businesses that sell food in Contra Costa County will be required to post color-coded signs of any health code violations found in their most recent health inspection, according to a report by Contra Costa Times.
An ordinance was unanimously approved by Contra Costa County supervisors this week that will require green, yellow, or red signs to be displayed to inform customers.

Contra Costa Times reports that similar programs have helped decreased foodborne illnesses in Sacramento and other Bay Area counties.
