Rock Show Hosted by San Ramon Valley Firefighters this Saturday
San Ramon Valley Firefighters will host a benefit to raise money for the children of fallen firefighters.

(SRV Firefighter Release) -- San Ramon Valley Firefighters will be holding their second annual event to raise money for the California Fire Foundation Endowment this Saturday, Oct. 19.
This 'Rock to Remember' event combines great food with incredible music all to help raise money and awareness in an effort to help the families of fallen firefighters.
All proceeds will be donated directly to the California Fire Foundation Endowment, which benefits children of fallen firefighters.
“We have been inspired by the amazing work of the California Fire Foundation Endowment,” said event organizer and Fire Captain Erik Falkenstrom.
“We are eager to help raise money for their scholarship program which awards money to children of firefighters who have died in the line of duty.”
The event will kick off at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Firehouse 37 restaurant located at 250 Market Place in San Ramon.
Entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. with the San Ramon Valley Fire Pipes and Drums Band.
The evening continues as four great bands take the stage. AudioDub, Conscious Souls, Slim Chances and Calm and Chaos have all donated their time to help support the event.
“Our goal is to raise enough money to fully fund two scholarships this year,” said Falkenstrom. “A big thanks to Firehouse 37 who is also donating ten percent of all sales to help us reach our goal.”
Donations will be warmly accepted at the door and online at www.srvff.org.
