San Ramon Valley High School To Host Every 15 Minutes Tuesday

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon Valley High School is alerting the community to take note of a simulated car crash April 26 at the school.

The school is hosting Every 15 Minutes, a program where students show a mock fatal DUI traffic collision.

“Don’t be alarmed,” the school said. “This is a dramatization of an accident as a learning experience for the students!

First responders treat the collision as a real-life incident and will be on the scene.

The school said there will be many different agencies involved and a helicopter.

An assembly following the simulated crash is scheduled for April 27.

Every 15 Minutes is a program aimed at teaching young adults the dangers and consequences of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The program gets its name from the frequency at which a person is killed in an alcohol or drug-related collision in the country.
