Search And Rescue Volunteers Needed For Contra Costa County Academy
Recruiting is happening now for the September academy.

DANVILLE, CA — The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team is recruiting volunteers for its September academy. Applicants don't need any special skills - just the desire and ability to complete challenging work as a qualified searcher and first responder.
The deadline to apply is June 9.
People interested in applying must attend an orientation, which is scheduled the first Thursday of each month until June at 7 p.m. An oral interview and background check are required before training for the academy.
