Pregnant SoCal Teacher Falls To Her Death In Greece: Reports
The baby did not survive, and the woman was declared brain dead and her organs were donated, her family said.

GOLETA, CA — A pregnant Southern California teacher fell to her death while hiking in Greece, according to reports.
Clara Thomann fell Dec. 23 on a hike near Plakias in Crete and was evacuated by construction workers and emergency responders, her family wrote on the CaringBridge website.
Her fall down a gorge near Preveli Monastery was 50 meters — or 164 feet — and it took many hours to rescue her, according to the Greek Reporter, which reported she was six months pregnant, citing local media.

Thomann was a science teacher at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, according to the Santa Barbara Independent.
