Smoke from a controlled burn in the Jamul area will be visible over the East County Monday and Tuesday, firefighters said.
Cal Fire Capt. Mike Mohler says crews will be burning brush today and Tuesday until about 4 p.m. to rid rural areas of wildfire fuels.
