Earthquake Rattles East San Diego County

The earthquake was about six miles northeast of Ocotillo Wells.

JACUMBA, CA -- A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck Sunday morning near the border of San Diego County, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported just after 5:45 a.m.

San Diego County Sheriff's deputies said there were no reports of injuries or damage.

The epicenter was near the San Diego-Imperial county line, about 15 miles northeast of Jacumba.
