SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was accused of kidnapping a ride-share driver over the weekend in San Diego's East County.
The Lyft worker picked up Shane Capezio, 22, shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sunday in Spring Valley, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.
In a text message to 911, the driver said she was being held against her will, sheriff's Sgt. Kenneth Seel said. The passenger said he had a gun and ordered her to take him to a marijuana dispensary in the 3500 block of Harris Street in Lemon Grove.
