Man Chased Minor In East County: San Diego Sheriff
The incident happened at the Santee Sportsplex.

SANTEE, CA -- Authorities are searching for a man who chased a Santee minor late Thursday night. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department said Sunday that the incident happened around 11 p.m. at the Santee Sportsplex.
Two minors said they attended a softball game at the facility at 9951 Riverwalk Drive. They went to their car to warm up when an unknown Hispanic man walked up and began to look through the window, officials said.
The man started to reach towards the driver's side door handle. The juvenile immediately reached upfront and locked the doors. The male walked away and they lost sight of him, officials said.

One of the juveniles ran towards the Sportsplex when the man jumped out from behind a vehicle and briefly chased her, officials said.
The suspect got into an early 2000's model, dark red minivan with faded paint and a sticker on the back window. He drove away through the south exit of the parking lot.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, about 32 years old, about 5'9" tall, about 170 pounds, short brown hair,clean shaven, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black and white backpack. The male's right eyebrow had two shaved lines through it.
Deputies have been unable to locate the second juvenile involved in this incident. Detectives are currently working on this case and attempting to locate the other juvenile.
