Starting on Friday, February 25, 2022 the Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ}, Food and Housing Division (FHD} will begin accepting applications for anyone interested in starting their own MEHKO.

DEHO will be joined by the San Diego MEHKO Coalition and FHD will have additional staff on hand to process applications and help answer any questions you may have on the application.

During this time, DEHO will also have staff available to assist with answering questions in the following languages: English, Arabic, Filipino, Mandarin, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
