Mission Gorge Rd. and Route 125 in Santee to Close Saturday

Part of Mission Gorge Road and Route 125 in Santee will close Saturday morning, causing detours around the intersection of the roads.

Caltrans crews will close northbound Route 125 just north of Prospect Avenue on Saturday from 3-11 a.m. to re-stripe the freeway and the intersection at Mission Gorge Road.  

This scheduled work will add a painted median between the right and left turn lanes at Mission Gorge Road.

Motorists wanting to travel eastbound on Mission Gorge Road will be detoured onto eastbound SR-52 to Cuyamaca Street to Mission Gorge Road.

Westbound travelers will be detoured to Mast Boulevard and West Hills Parkway to access Mission Gorge Road.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights.
