New Restaurant Coming To Santee Lakes

SANTEE, CA — A new restaurant is coming to Santee Lakes.

Topwater Grill will celebrate its grand opening June 14-15 at the dining deck overlooking Lake 4. The menu at Topwater Grill will feature California cuisine and drinks from local breweries and wineries.

"We are proud to welcome Pacific Dining Group as our food and beverage partner," said Park and Recreation Director Cory Kading. "Topwater Grill represents our ongoing commitment to enhancing the experience for all who visit Santee Lakes."

Topwater Grill is the third restaurant to occupy the space, which has been vacant for more than six months. Seafood chain Tin Fish Restaurant was the first to open at the 4,000-square-foot dining deck, followed by pizza chain Angry Pete's.

The grand opening celebration, scheduled Father's Day weekend, will include food and drink specials, live music, and family-friendly activities.

Customers who purchase parking can apply that cost toward a $20 minimum food and beverage
purchase. Fathers can also fish for free with a paid child fish permit.
