Passengers In East County Plane Crash Were OC Officers
Two of three passengers who were aboard the El Cajon plane that crashed were officers from Huntington Beach, NBC reported.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA -- Two of the people aboard an El Cajon plane that crashed Sunday morning were police officers from Huntington Beach. NBC reported that the Orange County officers were among the injured on the plane.
The plane crashed around 10 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot near Gillespie Field after it took off. One other person was on the plane who was also injured, according to NBC.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
