EL CAJON, CA — A lucky player won over half a million dollars playing a card game at Sycuan Casino Resort.
The player, who did not disclose his name, won a $595,375.26 jackpot after playing at the Face Up Pai Gow Poker table July 31 at the El Cajon-based casino.
Face Up Pai Gow Poker is a casino card game, where each player receives seven cards and splits them into two hands — one with five cards and one with two. Unlike traditional versions, the dealer's cards are revealed face up before players set their hands, increasing the players chances of winning, according to the casino.
