Santee Lakes Presents Our Annual Trout Re-Opener Weekend Event

Spend a great day (or two) at the Lakes!

Trout Re-Opening Weekend

Saturday, January 15 - Sunday, January 16

6:00AM- 5:00PM

2,500 lbs. of Rainbow Trout will be stocked with large fish up to eight pounds in Lakes 2, 3, and 4 for our annual Trout Re-Opener.

Greg Even, coordinator for this event, said “This is a great family friendly outdoor event. Whether you’re an avid angler or fishing for the first time, we hope you give Santee Lakes a visit. 2,500 lbs. of Rainbow Trout including some trophy sized trout will be split into 3 Lakes.”

Our on-site restaurant, Tin Fish Santee Lakes, will open at 6:00AM both Saturday and Sunday. The 6:00AM opening will include grab and go burritos, pastries, and the full drink menu. The full breakfast menu will be available starting at 8:00AM.

Hours of event: 6:00AM-5:00PM - January 15 & 16, 2022

Gate Entrance: $6 per carload

Permits: Adults are $10 and Juniors & Seniors are $6 and a second pole stamp is $4.

You can purchase a permit in advance at the General Store now.
