Santee Crime Report: Dec. 22-29

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Station. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Incidents of note from the press board at the Santee Sheriff’s Station:

Monday, Dec. 26

A 47-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of felony residential burglary in the 8500 block of Atlas View Drive.

A computer and DVD player were reported stolen from a residence in the 8700 block of Mesa Road.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

A computer valued at $1,100 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 8700 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

A motorcycle valued at $1,000 was reported stolen in the 10100 block of Pinewood View.

A pickup was reported vandalized in the 10300 block of Lairwood Drive. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

A traffic stop 8300 block of Mission Gorge Road resulted in the arrest of Jesus Gomez, 53, and Leopold Espericueta, 44, for suspicion of felony drug charges. Bail for both suspects was set at $100,000.

A 56-year-old man suffered a minor injury in the 9100 block of Mission Gorge Road in a battery on a person. No arrests were listed.

A utility vehicle valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 9900 block of Golden West Lane.

A car was vandalized in the 10000 block of N. Magnolia Avenue. Damage was estimated at $500.  

Thursday, Dec. 29

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 9900 block of Prospect Avenue. Items valued at $230 were reported stolen.

A 54-year-old man suffered a minor injury in a simple battery in the 9200 block of Massot Avenue. No arrests were listed.
