Santee Crime Report: Feb. 21-29

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Station. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

A television and computer with a combined value of $2,500 were reported stolen from a residence in the 8600 block of Graves Avenue.

A vehicle burglary and vandalism were reported in the 9400 block of Wheatlands Court. Two items with a combined value of $7,000 were reported stolen, and vandalism damage was estimated at $500.

Thursday, Feb. 23

A theft by use of access card information was reported in the 9300 block of Carlton Oak Drive; $328.66 was reported stolen.

Friday, Feb. 24

Two items with a combined valued of $200 were reported shoplifted from on Mission Gorge Road.

Gasoline valued at $120 and other items with a combined value of $620 were reported stolen from a business in the 9400 block of Wheatlands Court, which was also vandalized. Damage was estimated at $200.

A juvenile was detained for felony robbery in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway around 1:20 p.m. The suspect was released at 2:35 p.m. Two electronic components with a combined value of $109.92 were recovered.  

A 41-year-old male was arrested for vehicle theft from in the 8900 block Carlton Hills Boulevard. An ATV valued at $1,799 was recovered.

Saturday, Feb. 25

A juvenile was detained for possession of marijuana and smoking paraphernalia in the 10200 block of Woodglen Vista Drive around 11:30 a.m. The suspect was released just before 1 p.m.

A 28-year-old male was arrested for commercial burglary at Target on Mission Gorge Road. Items valued at $158.50 were recovered.

A 32-year-old male was arrested for vehicle theft in the 9200 block of Lakeview Terrace. An auxiliary dolly valued at $1,000 was recovered.

A 52-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 9700 block of Mission Gorge Road just after 5 p.m.

A vehicle was vandalized in the 10200 block of Woodglen Vista Drive. Damage was estimated at $300.

Sunday, Feb. 26

An 18-year-old male was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance on Alphonse Street at Prince Carlos Lane just after midnight.

A car was vandalized in the 10300 block of Woodrose Avenue. Damage was estimated at $800.

A 49-year-old female was arrested for being drunk in public in the 9200 block of Inwood Drive around 1 a.m.

A car valued at $2,000 was reported stolen in the 9600 block of Saint Andrews Drive.

A car valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 8700 block of Mast Boulevard.

Monday, Feb. 27

A bicycle valued at $200 was reported stolen in the 100 block of Civic Center Drive.

Jewelry valued at $1,150 and $4,500 in currency was reported stolen from a building in the 9600 block of Lutheran Way.

Vandalism was reported in the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road. Damage was estimated at $360.

An SUV valued at $1,500 was reported stolen in the 9200 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

Items valued at $10,040 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9600 block of Ramsgate Way.

A portable music device valued at $360 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10000 block of Allenwood Way. 

Tuesday, Feb. 28

A 45-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 9200 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard around 3:30 p.m.

Tools valued at $625 were reported stolen from a residence in the 10000 block of Pebble Beach Drive.

Wednesday, Feb. 29

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 46-year-old male and a 30-year-old female for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia just after 8:30 p.m. on the westbound onramp to state Route 52 at Cuyamaca Street.

A pair of sunglasses valued at $300 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9700 block of Abbeyfield Road.
