Santee Crime Report: Oct. 26-Nov. 1

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

A car valued at $1,200 and a computer valued at $500 were reported stolen in the 10500 block of Mission Gorge Road, between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Vandalism of a car was reported in the 9300 block of Fanita Parkway, occurring between 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 26. Damage was estimated at $200.

A cell phone valued at $400 was reported stolen in the 9900 block of Medina Drive around 5:30 p.m.

Andre Brown, 26, was arrested for commercial burglary in the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road around 7 p.m. According to a sheriff’s report he was armed with a lethal cutting instrument.

A residential burglary was reported in the 8300 block of Courtney Lane between 6:50 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. A computer, skateboard and other items were reported missing, with a value of $470.

A portable music device valued at $200 was reported stolen in the 8800 block of Bush Hill Drive between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 27

Patrick Miller, 18, was arrested for felony vandalism in the 8700 block of Ellsworth Circle around 2:15 p.m. Damage to the county building, with the victim listed as , was valued at $2,495.

The theft of $12,402 was reported in the 7400 block of Mission Gorge Road, occurring between 11 a.m. Oct. 25 and 9 a.m. Oct. 27.

A van valued at $7,500 was reported stolen in the 10200 block of Mission Gorge Road, occurring between 7 p.m. Oct. 26 and 8 a.m. Oct. 27.

A station wagon valued at $3,000 was reported stolen in the 9400 block of Stoyer Drive, occurring between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 26 and 7 a.m. Oct. 27.

Friday, Oct. 28

Unspecified ammunition was found in the 8500 block of S. Slope Drive around 10:20 a.m.

Matthew Hebert, 34, was arrested for felony possession of a dirk or dagger in the 8700 block of Mesa Road just before noon.

Saturday, Oct. 29

A male, 40, and female, 33, were arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance following a subject stop on Princess Joann Road at Dakota Ranch Road around 2 p.m.

Skye La Magna, 30, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance following a suspicious-person report just before 6 a.m. in the 9200 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard.

Sunday, Oct. 30

Parts from a vehicle valued at $300 were reported stolen in the 8600 block of Mission San Carlos Drive. The theft occurred between 3:30 Oct. 29 and 4:15 a.m. Oct. 30.

A bicycle was found on Cuyamaca Street and Airport Vista Road.

The burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 10100 block of Riverwalk Drive. Miscellaneous items valued at $986 were reported missing.

Coins valued at $3 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9300 block of Lake Country Drive.

A residential burglary was reported in the 8900 block of N. Magnolia Avenue, occurring between 8 p.m. Oct. 28 and 6:40 p.m. Oct. 30. Jewelry and papers valued at $800 were reported missing.

Vandalism of a car was reported in the 8500 block of De Vos Dr. between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Damage was estimated at $300.

Property valued at $123.90 was shoplifted from a business in the 9400 block of Mission Gorge Road around 5:17 p.m. The property was recovered but no arrests were reported.

Monday, Oct. 31

A 25-year-old man reported being threatened by a person with a firearm on West Hills Parkway at Mission Gorge Road around 6:30 p.m. No arrests were reported.

A felony case of possessing a weapon was reported in the 9900 block of N. Magnolia Avenue around 1:20 p.m. A juvenile was released less than an hour after being arrested, according to a sheriff’s report.  

A car was reported vandalized in the early morning hours in the 9100 block of Northcote Road. The damage was valued at $650.

The theft of miscellaneous items was reported in the 9200 block of Prospect Avenue, occurring between 5 p.m. Oct. 28 and just after midnight Oct. 31. The missing items were valued at $230.

Tuesday, Nov. 1

A burglary of a truck was reported in the 9300 block of Abraham Way, occurring between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and 6 a.m. Oct. 31. Miscellaneous items valued at $1,133 were reported missing.

A home in the 300 block of River Trail Place was reported vandalized between 2:50 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. Damage was estimated at $400.

Two swords and a magazine were found in the 9400 block of Mission Park Place around 4 p.m.

A 40-year-old woman was arrested for misdemeanor shoplifting in the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road around 5 p.m. A piece of clothing valued at $158.27 was recovered.

A car valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 8200 block of Mesa Road, occurring between 2:50 p.m. Oct. 28 and 5:22 p.m. Nov. 1.
