Santee Crime Report: Oct. 5—10

Wednesday, Oct. 5

Janie Johns, 30, was arrested for shoplifting $96.68 worth of merchandise from .

James Shelton, 46, was arrested in the 1400 block of N. Magnolia Avenue on a fraud/forgery charge.

Two vehicles were reported vandalized in the 10000 block of Timberlane Way. Damage was estimated at $3,500.

Thursday, Oct. 6

A grand theft was reported from a business in the 10100 block of Carefree Drive. An item valued at $1,800 was recovered.

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 9400 block of Mission Gorge Road. A wallet and miscellaneous items were reported missing.

John Roder, 24, was arrested on a felony ammunition charge at 2 p.m. in the 10000 block of Buena Vista Avenue.

A camera and other items valued at $525 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10100 block of Peaceful Court.

Friday, Oct. 7

A car window was damaged in the 10500 block of Mast Boulevard between 8 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7 a.m. Oct. 7. Damage was estimated at $300.

A vehicle in the 10500 block of Mast Boulevard was broken into, and items valued at $350 were reported missing. The theft occurred between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7 a.m. Oct. 7.

A motorcycle valued at $4,000 was reported stolen between 3:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 10400 block of Mast Boulevard.

A commercial burglary was reported in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway. Loss was valued at $2,000. The theft occurred between 11 p.m. Oct. 2 and 8 a.m. Oct. 3.

A car was vandalized in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway between 6:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 2. Damage was estimated at $500.

Saturday, Oct. 8

A car was vandalized in the 9800 block of Caspi Gardens between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 8. Damage was estimated at $25,000.

A vehicle valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 8500 block of N. Magnolia Avenue between 7 p.m. Oct. 7 and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

A bike valued at $500 was reported stolen in the 10300 block of Mast Boulevard.

Sunday, Oct. 9

Gary Dicker, 42, was arrested for a threaten crime with intent to terrorize in the 10400 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

A vehicle in the 10900 block of Woodside Avenue was reportedly broken into, with the loss valued at $750.

Monday, Oct. 10

A portable music device worth $150 was reported stolen in the 9900 block of N. Magnolia Avenue. The device was stolen between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.

A car was vandalized in the 10500 block of Braverman Drive between 1 p.m. Oct. 9 and 11 a.m. Oct. 10. Damage was estimated at $1,200.

A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10700 block of Ramsgate Drive.

A vehicle in the 9700 block of Hinsdale Street was vandalized between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. Oct. 10. Damage was estimated at $200.

A pickup truck in the 10100 block of Shaggybark Drive was vandalized between 5 p.m. Oct. 9 and 7 a.m. Oct. 10. Damage was estimated at $100.

A communication device valued at $125 was reported stolen in the 9500 block of Cuyamaca Street between 11:30 a.m. Oct. 9 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 10.

A car was vandalized in the 10200 block of Woodrose Avenue between 11 pm. Oct. 9 and 7:15 a.m. Oct. 10. Damage was estimated at $100.

A pickup truck was vandalized in the 10300 block of Woodrose Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and 6 a.m. Oct. 10. Damage was estimated at $100.

A pickup truck was vandalized in the 10000 block of Cedar Springs Drive between 8 p.m. Oct. 9 and 6 a.m. Oct. 10. Damage was estimated at $100.
