Santee Youth Business Fair To Give Young Entrepreneurs A Platform To Shine
Presented by Momentum Tutoring, the event will feature 70 young entrepreneurs, ages 5-22 years old, representing 55 youth-run businesses.
SANTEE, CA — Young entrepreneurs will showcase their hustle and heart during the Santee Youth Business Fair. The one-day marketplace is slated Saturday at Santee Lakes.
Presented by Momentum Tutoring, the event will feature 70 young entrepreneurs, ages 5 to 22 years old, representing 55 youth-run businesses. Products will include coasters, crochet stuffies, handmade bags, jewelry, knickknacks, local honey, soaps, tasty treats, wooden swords and more.
"Momentum Tutoring is dedicated to preparing our kiddos for the future," said Terri Bozhor, founding director of Momentum Tutoring and The Youth Biz Club. "The rise of technology and AI is changing how we teach, and creating space for youth to build their own businesses, experience running a booth, and interacting with the community gives them invaluable real-life experience."

This event is part of the national Acton Children's Business Fair initiative, inspiring youth to develop a brand, create a product or service, and open for business in a real-world setting.
The city will provide the young business leaders one-day business licenses signed by Mayor John Minto, according to Momentum Tutoring. Supervisor Joel Anderson will also provide civic engagement certificates, as part of a Community Enhancement Program grant awarded to Momentum Tutoring.

"The youth have been working hard to build their brands, perfect their products or services, and are ready to open for business," Bozhor told Patch. "The Youth Business Fair at Santee Lakes is more than just an event — it's a celebration of innovation, grit and entrepreneurial spirit. Come be inspired, support these hardworking young minds, and contribute to teaching our youth real-world skills that will shape their future."
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Lake No. 2 at Santee Lakes at 9310 Fanita Parkway in Santee.
