Santee's Fido Fest To Return To Town Center Community Park
The sixth annual event will feature vendor booths, dog adoption opportunities, discounted vaccinations, free microchipping and more.

SANTEE, CA — The city of Santee's popular Fido Fest is slated to return this month to Town Center Community Park East.
The sixth annual event will take place Feb. 26 and feature dozens of food and vendor booths, dog adoption opportunities, discounted vaccinations, free microchipping, "arfs" and crafts, games, giveaways and activities.
There will be a costume contest, a doggie cake walk and a best trick competition. A dog portrait artist will also be available to sketch caricatures.

"Fido Fest has something for every dog, from an off-leash tennis ball zone to an agility course," said Jon Shellhammer, the city's special events supervisor. "We expect to see lots of smiling faces and wagging tails."
Fido Fest will take place from 11 am. to 3 p.m. Feb. 26 at Town Center Community Park East at 550 Park Center Drive in Santee.
