All courts, post offices and banks in San Diego County will be closed Monday because of Columbus Day.
The federal holiday will not be observed by local public schools, Santee city government or the Santee Library.
Also, parking meters will be enforced (thought there are non in Santee) and all public buses, trolleys and trains operated by the North County Transit District and the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System are scheduled to run on their normal weekday schedules.
