SANTEE, CA — It's Election Day in Santee.

Tuesday is the final day of voting in the presidential primary election. All vote centers and official ballot drop boxes will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. across San Diego County.

There are more than 200 vote centers and 146 official ballot drop boxes throughout the county. Voters are not assigned to a specific location and may cast their ballot at any available vote center.

Any voter who is in line at a vote center or an official ballot drop box at 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote, according to the San Diego Registrar of Voters Office. However, no one can join the line after the 8 p.m. deadline.

  • West Hills High School-Gym Foyer: 8756 Mast Blvd.

Ballots will be counted at the Registrar's office. The ballot marking device does not store, tabulate or count any votes, according to the office.

If you already returned your mail ballot, you can confirm when it was received by the Registrar's office at sdvote.com or you can track it through the U.S. Postal Service by signing up for "Where's My Ballot?"
