Saratoga Diner Punched, Bit Restaurant Worker: Police
Investigators said a person acting belligerent inside an Italian restaurant assaulted a worker and resisted arrest.

SARATOGA, CA — A diner was arrested Sunday at a Saratoga restaurant after investigators allege they punched and bit a worker after being asked to leave.
In a weekly review, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to reports of a fight inside Bella Saratoga on Big Basin Way a few minutes after 8 p.m. Witnesses told deputies the patron was acting belligerent and became combative when asked to leave. Authorities allege the person began punching and biting an employee and violently resisted deputies' attempts to detain them.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Main Jail on suspicion of assault and battery and resisting arrest by means of violence.
