2 Nabbed After Scotts Valley High Speed Chase; 1 Suspect at Large
The chase began after a sheriff's deputy attempted to stop the suspect vehicle at about 6 p.m. Sunday for a vehicle code violation.
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA -- Two people were arrested, but a third escaped and is still being sought after a Sunday night high-speed chase, a Santa Cruz County Sheriff's sergeant said.
According to sheriff's Sgt. Daniel Robbins, a sheriff's deputy tried to stop the suspect vehicle at about 6 p.m. March 31 for a vehicle code violation. But the vehicle instead sped away, leading officers on a chase that ended near the Vista Del Lago mobile home community on Whispering Pines Drive in Scotts Valley, Robbins said.
Two people - an adult man and a juvenile, whose names were not released - were apprehended near Whispering Pines Drive. A third person in the vehicle, whose age and gender was not known, was still being sought Sunday night, Robbins said.

The adult suspect was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail, and the juvenile into Juvenile Hall, Robbins said.
