Council Vote Allows Lennar Homes to Demolish Polo Ranch Buildings
In a unanimous decision, the Scotts Valley City Council voted Wednesday night to allow developer Lennar Homes to demolish the deteriorated Polo Ranch buildings in exchange for a $1 million payout to the city.
The lure of a million dollar credit to the city bank account was enough to convince the Scotts Valley City Council Wednesday night to give a homebuilder tentative permission to demolish the buildings of Polo Ranch.
Developer Lennar Homes has been given to permission to demolish the Polo Ranch buildings in exchange for a $1 million payout to Scotts Valley.
However, reports the Press-Banner, the council and Lennar Homes agreed to delay any demolition for approximately a month in order to reach out to the Pasatiempo Golf Course to gauge interest in relocating the barn there.
