Woman Chases Flasher in Scotts Valley
Her attempt at a citizen's arrest didn't work out, so now police are trying to track him down.

A woman ran after a man who exposed himself to her at the intersection of Glenwood and Meadow View drives in Scotts Valley on Friday evening, Scotts Valley police reported.
She didn't catch him. Now police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the flasher.Â
He is a white man in his early to mid-30s, brown hair, no facial hair and about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a white shirt and orange running shorts on Friday, police said.
The indecent exposure happened around 7:30 p.m. when the woman was driving through the intersection. The flasher was standing on a street corner. He pulled up the leg of his shorts to expose his genitalia to the woman, police said.Â
That's when she hopped out of her car and ran after him. She lost sight of him two blocks later, at Meadow View and Deerfield drives, police said.Â
Police ask anyone with information about the man's identity call Sgt. Mike Dean at 440-5654.
