Six people were injured Friday night, one critically, in a crash on the northbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Sherman Oaks.
The driver of one vehicle was critically injured and taken to a hospital, said David Ortiz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The other five injured people were all in the same car. One was hospitalized, Ortiz said
The crash at Balboa Avenue was reported at 9:11 p.m, Ortiz said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
